This strawberry matcha latte layers sweet strawberry cream, frothy matcha, and your choice of milk over ice. It’s refreshing, energizing, and stunningly simple to make at home.

Ingredients

Matcha Latte

▢ 1 teaspoon matcha powder, ceremonial grade

▢ 2 oz hot water

▢ 1 teaspoon liquid sweetener

▢ 5 oz milk, dairy or plant-based (oat milk preferred)

▢ ice

Strawberry Sweet Cream

▢ 2–3 medium strawberries

▢ 2 oz heavy cream

▢ 1 oz milk

▢ 1 teaspoon sweetener

Instructions

1. Blend strawberries, cream, milk, and sweetener until smooth.

2. Strain if desired, then pour into the bottom of a tall glass.

3. Add ice to fill the glass about ¾ full.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk matcha with hot water until frothy.

5. Add liquid sweetener to matcha and stir.

6. Slowly pour milk over the strawberry layer.

7. Top with the whisked matcha.

8. Serve immediately, stirred or layered.

Notes

You can use any milk for this latte. Oat milk and almond milk pair especially well with matcha.

Make the strawberry cream ahead and refrigerate up to 3 days.

For a hot version, skip the ice and warm your milk before layering.
