Description
A creamy, cool caramel matcha latte with layered coconut milk and salted caramel—perfectly sweet and dairy-free. This iced latte is as beautiful as it is energizing.
Ingredients
Matcha Layer
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp ground vanilla bean
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar, or sweetener of choice
- 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup ice
Coconut Milk Layer
- 1 cup coconut milk, divided
Salted Caramel Layer
- 4 tbsp salted caramel sauce
- 2–3 cups ice
Instructions
1. In a blender, combine all matcha layer ingredients and blend until smooth.
2. In a glass, layer half of the coconut milk at the bottom.
3. Add 2–3 tablespoons of salted caramel sauce over the coconut milk.
4. Carefully add ice to fill the glass.
5. Slowly pour the blended matcha mixture over the ice to create a gradient.
6. Top with remaining coconut milk and a drizzle of caramel if desired.
Notes
- For stronger matcha flavor, use ceremonial-grade powder.
- Sweetener can be adjusted or omitted entirely.
- Use a frother if you prefer a more airy texture.
- Great for summer or as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
